You cannot use a sky satellite dish or any other type of dish to get Saorview.
Saorview is a Digital Terrestrial TV system (DTT) and as such must be received using an appropriate TV Aerial.
Can I connect a Freeview box to my Sky dish?
To connect both a Freeview box or recorder for Satellite and a SKY decoder to one satellite dish you need to use a single power pass splitter and connect the power pass side to the SKY decoder as shown below. The LNB stands for the Low Noise Blocker on your satellite dish.
How do I connect my Sky dish to my TV?

- Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the back of your satellite dish labeled “LNB”
- Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to your satellite receiver in the port marked “Sat in”.

Does a smart TV need a Saorview box?
In order to get Saorview you need to connect a Saorview box or Saorview TV to an aerial. Most TVs come with Saorview built in or you can adapt your existing TV with a set top box. Depending on your location, you may be able to use an indoor aerial to receive Saorview.
